Job Summary
RE:GEN Academy is an employer-led skills provider, wholly owned by RE:GEN Group.
RE:GEN Group are main contractors, delivering refurbishment, retrofit and new build works to social housing providers across the North of England, directly supporting the decarbonisation of homes and the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking to connect with individuals who are passionate about supporting people into employment from disadvantaged groups by breaking down barriers and helping reduce deprivation across the communities we regenerate.
This opportunity could suit someone with experience in careers advisory roles, recruitment or social housing support.
You’ll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of other areas including construction and green skills training, working closely with our qualified trainers to support learners into sustainable careers.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, attract and shortlist candidates using all appropriate methods to satisfy course requirements.
Engage with housing associations, community groups and charities to promote our projects to local residents. Hot desking in community centres, take part in community events, host IAG workshops.
Develop strong relationships with local support services, providing a holistic approach to breaking down barriers to entry. For example, housing / financial / mental health support services.
Liaise, plan and attend all local job fairs / job centres to provide knowledge on our current opportunities.
Assist in the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with the candidates, internal teams and employer partners ensuring they are a good match.
Initiate, manage and develop candidate relationships providing quality Information, Advice and Guidance at every stage of their journey.
Understand and meet agreed KPIs and targets.
Ensuring that the learners are fully inducted into the course and understand the requirements prior to the course start date and complete enrolment paperwork where necessary.
Maintain a strong relationship with each learner and support them to achieve their goals offering careers advice and guidance throughout their journey.
Essential Experience & Skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational, and digital skills.
A passion for supporting people into employment, training, or career progression.
Experience engaging individuals from diverse backgrounds and supporting positive outcomes.
Ability to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines
Good understanding of MS office packages
Driving licence and access to your own transport
Desirable Skills & Experience
Level 2 Information, Advice & Guidance qualification or higher.
Knowledge or experience within construction, retrofit, or green skills sectors.
Experience working on Government-funded provision or employability programmes
