RE:GEN Academy is an employer-led skills provider, wholly owned by RE:GEN Group.
RE:GEN Group are main contractors, delivering refurbishment, retrofit and new build works to social housing providers across the North of England, directly supporting the decarbonisation of homes and the transition to a low-carbon economy.

We completed last year’s contract with a 74% progression into employment outcome and are on track to achieve the same this year. We are also currently within scope for Ofsted.
Due to continued growth, we’re looking to connect with individuals who are passionate about supporting people into employment from disadvantaged groups by breaking down barriers and helping reduce deprivation across the communities we regenerate.
You’ll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of other areas including construction and green skills training, working closely with our qualified trainers to support learners into sustainable careers.
Job Summary
This role has two key focuses:
1. Supporting Employers to Meet their Skills Needs
You’ll work closely with employers across RE:GEN Group and our supply chain to understand their workforce requirements. By carrying out Training Needs Analyses, you’ll help businesses bring new talent into the sector through our training programmes, while also identifying upskilling opportunities for their current teams. You’ll maintain regular contact to ensure training solutions are tailored, timely, and aligned to their project demands.
2. Advising and Influencing Workforce Development
Alongside immediate recruitment needs, you’ll act as a strategic partner — advising employers on how to maximise CITB grants, make best use of their Apprenticeship Levy, and access wider workforce funding. You’ll stay on top of industry changes, government initiatives, and skills gaps to help employers plan for the future and embed long-term workforce strategies. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to the employers, who are predominantly supply chain partners of RE:GEN Group.
About You
We’re looking for a dynamic, proactive individual who is passionate about shaping construction skills for the future, particularly within social housing refurbishment and retrofit.
You will:
Understand the construction skills landscape and the sector’s evolving workforce needs.
Be confident advising employers on CITB funding, Apprenticeship Levy, and other workforce development opportunities.
Build trusted, collaborative relationships with employers, partners, and stakeholders.
Be a strategic thinker, able to tailor solutions to meet changing employer demands.
Be organised and process-driven, with experience conducting Training Needs Analyses.
Communicate effectively, influencing at all levels and representing RE:GEN externally at meetings, events, and forums.
Be digitally confident and comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders.

Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel regionally as needed.
Professional Background
You might have experience in:
Employer engagement, skills brokerage, or business development within training, education, or construction.
Apprenticeship programme development, workforce planning, or delivering social value initiatives.
Working within or alongside main contractors, supply chains, or training providers in a construction environment.
Daily Responsibility
Build strong relationships with RE:GEN’s supply chain and project partners.
Carry out Training Needs Analyses and develop tailored training solutions.
Support employers to bring in new entrants and upskill existing staff through Bootcamps and funded training programmes.
Advise employers on maximising CITB funding, Apprenticeship Levy use, and accessing wider training support.
Work closely with Commercial Managers, Supply Chain Manager, Social Value Coordinator, and delivery teams to align skills provision with project needs.
Promote our employer-led approach alongside the marketing team.
Monitor industry trends and government skills initiatives, ensuring training provision stays relevant.
Track, report, and monitor employer engagement and training outcomes against targets.
